Tattoos

Are of different types - Decorative ( Amateur, Professional ), Cosmetic, Traumatic, Medical.

Amateur tattoos are blue - black in colour and can be removed in fewer sessions Professional tattoos are denser with large quantity of ink placed deeper in the skin, can be multi coloured. These tattoos need multiple sessions and some may not clear completely inspite of repeated treatment leaving behind a ghost image of the design.
Q-switched lasers are effective for dark blue - black, green tattoos, where as red and yellow are difficult to treat.
